Signs and Symptoms
Migraine headaches are accompanied by specific symptoms. These symptoms include the following:
- Onset accompanied with an "aura"
- Throbbing or pulsing pain
- Usually pain is localized to one side of the head
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Sensitivity to light
- Sensitivity to smells
- Sensitivity to noises
