Who Gets Migraines?

Annually, more than three million Canadians suffer from migraine headaches. Women tend to develop migraines more than men (3:1). Migraine headaches can begin in childhood or adolescence and continue throughout adult life. The average age of migraine sufferers is between twenty and fifty-five. Normal functioning at work or school is very often disrupted, and the migraine sufferer can frequently experience feelings of inadequacy or guilt related to her/his decreased ability to function at work, or in family roles.TOP
